Events here are intended for DSC staff, but are open to the wider RMIT University where space permits. Events are organised on a monthly cycle, with new events added and old events repeating each month. Each event is cross listed into HR’s Learning Development Portal for those who are using that system to record their professional development.

Rubrics: Why-Where-How? School of Design & School of Media and Communication

June 18 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

In this one-hour workshop you will learn how rubrics fit within the context of both RMIT assessment policies and processes and higher education frameworks. You’ll examine the rationale for using rubrics, and design your own rubric with criteria and performance levels aligned to the assessment description and course learning outcomes. You can then apply this new knowledge to build effective rubrics that you can use in your Canvas shells and beyond.
